Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
- Valid Driver’s license with a clean driving record required.
- At least 6 months of Construction or General Labor experience.
- Strong work ethic with a safety-first mindset.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team while managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Must be able to get to/from the job site.
- Demonstrates accountability and punctuality.
- Safety oriented mindset with the determination to follow all procedures and policies.
- Must be able to pass a Pre-Employment Physical, Drug Screen and Alcohol testing.
- Must be able to pass a Pre-Employment Background Screening.
- Must be able to successfully complete OSHA HAZWOPER 40-hour and other mandatory training courses.
- Ability to work a rotating shift, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability and willingness to travel for extended periods of time, overnight and on an on-call basis.
- Able to read, write, and understand the English language, and able to follow verbal and written instructions.
Responsibilities
- Perform tasks under direct guidance of a supervisor, including non-emergency and emergency response activities.
- Engage in confined space entry such as manholes and tank cleaning.
- Conduct oil spill cleanup, drum handling, and decontamination.
- Perform sweeping, shoveling, and high-pressure washing.
- Undertake various other remedial activities.
- Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) properly and adhere to all safety procedures.
- Perform labor-intensive activities in all weather conditions.
- Work in atmospheres with low clearances, confined spaces, and at heights.
- Operate light and heavy equipment including Forklifts, Aerial Lifts, Boom Lifts, Skid Steers, Excavators, Pressure washers, pumps, and other company work vehicles.
- Attend mandatory training to earn certifications and gain specific information.
- Ensure all proper paperwork is signed and submitted.
- Work "On-Call" based on a rotating schedule for Emergency Response, which may require out-of-town travel.
- Comply with on-going and random drug testing and physicals.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
