Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • Valid Driver’s license with a clean driving record required.
  • At least 6 months of Construction or General Labor experience.
  • Strong work ethic with a safety-first mindset.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team while managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Must be able to get to/from the job site.
  • Demonstrates accountability and punctuality.
  • Safety oriented mindset with the determination to follow all procedures and policies.
  • Must be able to pass a Pre-Employment Physical, Drug Screen and Alcohol testing.
  • Must be able to pass a Pre-Employment Background Screening.
  • Must be able to successfully complete OSHA HAZWOPER 40-hour and other mandatory training courses.
  • Ability to work a rotating shift, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability and willingness to travel for extended periods of time, overnight and on an on-call basis.
  • Able to read, write, and understand the English language, and able to follow verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

  • Perform tasks under direct guidance of a supervisor, including non-emergency and emergency response activities.
  • Engage in confined space entry such as manholes and tank cleaning.
  • Conduct oil spill cleanup, drum handling, and decontamination.
  • Perform sweeping, shoveling, and high-pressure washing.
  • Undertake various other remedial activities.
  • Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) properly and adhere to all safety procedures.
  • Perform labor-intensive activities in all weather conditions.
  • Work in atmospheres with low clearances, confined spaces, and at heights.
  • Operate light and heavy equipment including Forklifts, Aerial Lifts, Boom Lifts, Skid Steers, Excavators, Pressure washers, pumps, and other company work vehicles.
  • Attend mandatory training to earn certifications and gain specific information.
  • Ensure all proper paperwork is signed and submitted.
  • Work "On-Call" based on a rotating schedule for Emergency Response, which may require out-of-town travel.
  • Comply with on-going and random drug testing and physicals.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
