About The Position
The Environmental Technician will coordinate the transportation of waste containers and shipments of waste, attend project kickoff meetings to communicate waste management requirements, and complete waste manifests and manage shipping records. This role involves inspecting waste storage areas and chemical warehouses, auditing production unit waste storage logs, and assisting with waste characterization sampling and spill cleanup activities. The position is located at the Plaquemine Unit within the Environmental department.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 4 years' experience of manufacturing or related military experience.
- Strong written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel

- Forklift operator qualified or able to receive qualification.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate transportation of waste containers and shipments of waste.
