Requirements

  • Hold post-secondary education in Environmental Sciences, Engineering Technology, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
  • Possess a minimum of 5 years of relevant environmental field experience
  • Be eligible to obtain Federal Government security clearance
  • Demonstrate knowledge of and compliance with occupational health and safety requirements in field environments
  • Demonstrated experience in professional reports writing
  • Hold a valid driver’s license and have access to a reliable personal vehicle
  • Be available to work in outdoor field environments year‑round, with flexibility for schedule changes, travel, and occasional overtime
  • Travel locally and, as required, provincially or nationally to urban and remote project sites

Responsibilities

  • Apply, promote, and strictly adhere to Englobe’s health and safety policies on all project sites and work locations
  • Perform environmental fieldwork, including sampling of groundwater, surface water, potable water, and sediments
  • Coordinate and carry out environmental drilling and test pit programs, including geotechnical and integrated geo-environmental fieldwork
  • Document field activities, compile data, and prepare technical reports using established templates
  • Prepare laboratory chains of custody, maintain detailed field records, and coordinate sample submissions to laboratories
  • Manage, maintain, and operate field equipment, including calibration, charging, and routine maintenance
  • Apply regulatory requirements and guidelines related to excess soils, contaminated sites, and environmental compliance
  • Support project execution through required administrative tasks, including timesheet completion
