About The Position

Wood Environment & Infrastructure Solutions is seeking an Industrial Hygiene Technician with 1 - 2 years of experience to join the Texas office team. This role involves asbestos abatement project management and oversight, air monitoring, onsite analysis of asbestos PCM air samples, and conducting asbestos-containing materials surveys. The technician will be responsible for adherence to health and safety plans, work plans, and other project guidance documents.

Requirements

• Texas specific licenses or certifications: Asbestos Inspector, Asbestos Project Manager, Asbestos Air Monitoring Technician
• NIOSH 582
• Experience overseeing abatement contractors
• Experience with Federal and State regulations related to asbestos abatement
• Strong verbal, and inter-personal skills
• Good time-management skills
• Ability to focus and attention to detail
• Must be organized and able to communicate clearly
• Team player and technical contributor
• Able to operate within scope, schedule and budget during project implementation
