About The Position

This role is responsible for maintaining the overall look and feel of the store, including cleanliness and recovery standards, to deliver on Brand Promises. The team member will provide friendly customer service, assist customers in finding products, and ensure a clean and safe environment for both customers and staff. The position involves performing cleaning tasks, managing cleaning supplies, and adhering to all company policies and procedures. Additionally, the role may include customer checkout, promoting loyalty programs, assisting with online order fulfillment, participating in stocking and merchandising processes, and supporting safety and loss prevention initiatives.

Requirements

Must be at least sixteen (16) years or older.
Ability to remain standing for long periods of time.
Ability to move throughout the store.
Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.
Use of standard commercial cleaners and chemicals.

Responsibilities

Maintain store cleanliness and recovery standards.
Provide friendly and helpful customer service.
Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures.
Dust and damp mop floors following approved procedures.
Move equipment and products for proper cleaning and return products to correct placement.
Clean assigned areas using assigned materials and equipment.
Mix water and detergents to prepare cleaning solutions.
Deep clean key areas of the store, including bathrooms, breakrooms, and entryways.
Keep cleaning equipment neat and orderly.
Notify supervisor of supply needs.
Seek out and complete cleaning tasks proactively.
Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor.
Perform tasks in accordance with federal, state, and county guidelines.
Maintain positive and respectful interactions with team members and customers.
Project a positive image and serve as a role model.
Provide a fast and friendly check-out experience and execute cash handling.
Engage customers on benefits of Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship from Store (SFS).
Participate in truck un-load, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
Support shrink and safety programs.
Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs.
Execute Company policies and standards.
