About The Position

The Environmental Team Member is responsible for maintaining a high standard of the store's overall look and feel, including cleanliness and recovery standards, to deliver on Brand Promises. This role involves delivering friendly customer service, assisting customers in finding products, and ensuring the store is clean and safe for both customers and staff. The team member will also support various operational tasks such as truck unloading, stocking, and participating in shrink and safety programs.

Requirements

  • Must be at least sixteen (16) years or older.
  • Applicants in the U.S. must satisfy federal, state, and local legal requirements of the job.

Responsibilities

  • Collects and disposes of trash following approved procedures.
  • Dust and damp mops floors following approved procedures.
  • Moves equipment and products for proper cleaning and places products back in correct placement.
  • Cleans assigned areas with the use of assigned materials and equipment.
  • Deep cleans key areas of the store including bathrooms, breakrooms, entryways, and other high traffic areas.
  • Keeps cleaning equipment neat and orderly and notifies supervisor of supply needs.
  • Seeks out areas requiring cleaning and takes initiative to complete the task.
  • Completes all tasks assigned by supervisor.
  • Performs tasks in accordance with all federal, state, and county guidelines.
  • Maintains positive and respectful interactions with team members and customers.
  • Projects a positive image and serves as a role model.
  • Provides a fast and friendly check-out experience and executes cash handling to standards.
  • Engages customers on benefits of Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and completes enrollments.
  • Assists with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship from Store (SFS).
  • Participates in truck un-load, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
  • Supports shrink and safety programs.
  • Adheres to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements.
  • Executes Company policies and standards.
