About The Position

This position is responsible for cleaning and supplying patient rooms, removal of soiled linen units, nursing stations, lounges, lavatories, common areas, floors, public bathrooms, offices and any other areas assigned in accordance with standard procedures of the Environmental Services Department and in accordance with hospital objectives.

Requirements

• Ability to follow oral and written instructions

Nice To Haves

• 1-2 years housekeeping experience preferred
• Previous experience using battery operated floor scrubbers, buffers and burnishers desired
• Mechanical aptitude is desirable
• High School/GED preferred

Responsibilities

• Clean and supply patient rooms
• Removal of soiled linen units
• Cleaning nursing stations, lounges, lavatories, common areas, floors, public bathrooms, offices and any other areas assigned in accordance with standard procedures of the Environmental Services Department and in accordance with hospital objectives
