About The Position

The Environmental Svcs Technician is responsible for waxing, buffing, sweeping and mopping floors. Vacuums and shampoos carpets and cleans windows, walls, partitions and sinks as needed. These services may be provided for both the LLUMC, LLUCH and our off-site hospitals. Performs other duties as needed.

Requirements

Minimum two years of housekeeping experience required
Knowledge of proper use of carpet/furniture extractor, floor buffer, vacuums, buckets, wringers, dust mops, dusting equipment, step ladders, cleaning carts, and spray bottles
Able to read
Able to write legibly
Able to speak in English with professional quality
Able to use computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position
Able to operate/troubleshoot basic office equipment required for the position
Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others
Able to work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure
Able to collaborate and accept direction
Able to communicate effectively in English in person, in writing, and on the telephone
Able to think critically
