About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Environmental Services Technician to join our team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy environment in accordance with established protocols and standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to quality and safety, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated effectiveness as an interdisciplinary team member.
• Ability to work collaboratively with others on departmental development and projects.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in environmental services or a related field preferred
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior healthcare environmental services experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of assigned areas to ensure a hygienic environment
• Follow all safety guidelines and infection control procedures
• Properly handle and dispose of waste materials in compliance with environmental regulations
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any maintenance needs promptly
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to support facility operations
• Document cleaning activities and report any issues or hazards observed during shifts
