We are seeking an Environmental Scientist to join our growing team in Windsor, CT. This position will focus on soil and groundwater sampling, subsurface delineation, and environmental spill response and remedial activities.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Geology, Environmental Science, or related discipline required
0 to 5 years of related environmental experience required
Ability to lift up to 30lbs
Ability to drive to and from jobsites as necessary + transporting equipment necessary to perform field activities
Valid driver’s license required
Excellent oral and written communication skills are mandatory

Nice To Haves

40 Hr. Hazwoper training highly desirable
Industrial Hygiene experience is a plus
Ability to work nights and weekends if needed

Responsibilities

Soil, groundwater, and air sampling
Coordinate and oversee soil borings and monitoring well installation
Provide remediation oversight
Perform asbestos and lead paint sampling
Assist in data management and evaluation and preparation of technical reports
Communicating with a project team and interaction with clients and subcontractors
Corresponding with regulatory agencies
Development of work plans and report writing
Other duties as assigned
