About The Position

The Environmental Solutions Account Executive II (Containerized Waste) role is responsible for managing and growing customer accounts within the environmental services industry, specifically focusing on containerized waste solutions. This position involves providing customers with a complete set of products and services, including recycling, waste, special waste, and hazardous waste services. The role contributes to the company's vision of partnering with customers to create a more sustainable world by advancing circularity and supporting decarbonization efforts. The Account Executive will work with a diverse customer base, including small businesses, major corporations, and municipalities, aiming to exceed their expectations and help them achieve their sustainability goals.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow customer accounts within the environmental services industry, focusing on containerized waste solutions.
  • Provide customers with a complete set of products and services, including recycling, waste, special waste, and hazardous waste services.
  • Partner with customers to help them achieve their sustainability goals.
  • Exceed customer expectations through expertise and capabilities in managing multiple recycling and waste streams.
  • Contribute to the company's strategy of profitable growth through acquisitions and industry advancements.
  • Safely and sustainably manage customers' multiple waste streams through a North American footprint of vertically integrated assets.
  • Focus on growth areas including recycling and waste, environmental solutions, and sustainability innovation.
  • Expand environmental solutions capabilities and geographic footprint.
  • Identify and pursue growth opportunities for offerings, including PFAS remediation.
  • Leverage innovations to advance circularity and decarbonization.
  • Promote the use of recycled materials and support bottle-to-bottle circularity.
  • Collaborate with customers on decarbonization solutions, including leveraging landfill gas for energy.
  • Drive additional opportunities to provide services to existing recycling and waste customers.
