About The Position

This position provides an opportunity to work on projects focused on site development and civil engineering (site layout, grading, drainage, erosion and sediment control, permitting, etc.), stormwater management, solid waste and sustainable materials management, ecosystem restoration and coastal resiliency, water/wastewater treatment, collection, and distribution, and related environmental and civil subject areas. This position will be tailored to a specific candidate’s experience and personal interest and is best suited for an individual who is excited to develop experience across a range of technical and managerial skills.

Requirements

• Professional Engineer (P.E.), or Engineer-in-Training working towards a P.E.
• B.S. or M.S. degree in civil or environmental engineering or a related field
• 3 or more years of environmental infrastructure or site development design experience, with a site/civil or stormwater management focus
• 2 or more years of practical experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D; proficiency desired
• Must be able to pass a motor vehicle records check required by our insurer.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering design tasks
• Perform engineering calculations and evaluations
• Develop engineering plans and specifications
• Prepare technical reports
• Perform alternatives analyses
• Provide engineering office and field support for projects under construction
