About The Position

The Environmental Services Worker maintains a safe and sanitary environment for visitors, patients, and employees at Virtua facilities. The role is part-time, 24 hours per week, on the second shift, and is based on-site at Mount Holly, 175 Madison Avenue. Work may also be required at other facilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to speak English.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain Virtua facilities as directed, including cleaning, removing trash, distributing linen, and setting up rooms.
• Maintain universal precautions to ensure patient and employee safety.
• Safely handle and dispose of regulated medical waste and other trash.
• Use chemicals properly and help maintain a safe environment, including proper chemical storage.
• Assume linen responsibilities as required.
• Work in other facilities as assigned when required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
