Responsibilities

• Maintain assigned areas by washing furnishings with approved disinfectants and arranging furniture and accessories according to established standards.
• Empty, clean, and reline waste receptacles using universal precautions; empty soiled linen hampers and dispose of their contents via the linen chute.
• Dust, sweep, and vacuum assigned areas according to departmental standards, and report stains.
• Check and replenish disposable supplies daily as needed, including soap, paper towels, and toilet tissue.
• Clean and maintain equipment in proper working order and report repair needs to a supervisor.
