About The Position

This role is responsible for executing test methods in a laboratory setting, performing physical testing of consumer products using automated laboratory equipment and manual techniques. The technician will prepare precise measurements of materials, prepare test samples, and manage data entry using MS Excel, recording data points in a tracking system and maintaining accurate records. Adherence to all safety and regulatory guidelines is paramount. This position also involves performing other essential tasks, projects, and responsibilities as required, including other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Proficiency in MS Office and possess ability to learn any new software.
• Must have the ability to work with and smell fragrances.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be detail-oriented and possess a high degree of accuracy.
• Excellent analytical and time management skills for success in a fast-paced environment.
• Associates Degree in a science or engineering related field of study or 1-2 years experience in a science or mechanical role using hand tools.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted in lieu of above.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in the consumer products, pharmaceuticals, personal care, and/or food and beverage industries is preferred.
• Experience working in an FDA/cGMP regulated environment is preferred.
