About The Position

The Environmental Services Technician is a member of the CTCA Environmental Services team and performs established standard cleaning procedures to provide non-medical sanitation support in an assigned hospital unit. The role uses equipment, tools, products, and supplies to complete general cleaning duties and help provide a safe, attractive environment for patients, visitors, and employees. Duties may include dusting, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning light fixtures and furniture, and emptying trash. The listed position hours are 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. or 10:00 a.m.–6:30 p.m.

Requirements

• Must be able to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work well on a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Healthcare Environmental Services experience preferred.
