Environmental Services Technician 7:00am-3:00pm
About The Position
Rome Health is seeking an Environmental Services Technician responsible for routine daily cleaning activities at Rome Health facilities. The position requires using professional cleaning equipment. Training will be provided. Experience cleaning in a healthcare or institutional setting is preferred but not essential. Rome Health is a nonprofit health care system based in Rome, New York, serving patients throughout Central New York. Its services include primary and specialty care and long-term care. Rome Health is an affiliate of St. Joseph’s Health and an affiliated clinical site of New York Medical College.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED, or an equivalent combination of experience and training sufficient to indicate the ability to do the work.
- Ability to use a telephone and professional cleaning equipment, including mops, buckets and wringers, dusters, vacuums, scrapers, brushes, pull carts, and ladders.
Nice To Haves
- Experience cleaning in a healthcare or institutional setting.
