This role involves heavy contact with cleaning chemicals and disinfecting agents, and may include outdoor cleaning, window washing, and roof cleaning, potentially using a ladder. The technician also removes waste, including soiled linen, trash, sharps, solid and hazardous waste, and recycling materials. Maintaining equipment, ensuring a safe working environment, complying with infection control guidelines, and attending required training are also key functions.
