About The Position

The Environmental Services Technician performs routine tasks in assigned areas, following a 7-Step cleaning process and the remaking of beds after disinfecting during discharge cleaning. This role also involves performing routine tasks in assigned areas and following a maintenance schedule for floors and carpets. Responsibilities include cleaning fixtures, furnishings, walls, woodwork, floors, stairwells, interior windows, elevators/tracks, and exteriors of equipment. The technician will empty trash, wipe and reline containers, and operate a compactor if necessary. Additionally, they will replenish disposable items such as soap and paper towels, and move and reset furnishings to their original locations after completing tasks. The role requires performing all methods of floor care, including dust mopping, wet mopping, stripping, refinishing, spot cleaning, burnishing, and extraction, using specified equipment.

Requirements

  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions and complete written forms required.
  • Related experience preferred.
  • On the job training will be provided.
