Environmental Services Technician - Per Diem
About The Position
Southern Kentucky Rehabilitation Hospital, a partnership between Select Medical and Vibra Healthcare, is seeking an Environmental Services Technician. This role is per diem/PRN. Requirements
- Previous Housekeeping experience required.
Nice To Haves
- High School degree or equivalent preferred.
- Previous hospital EVS experience preferred.
- Post offer employment testing (POETs) are completed as part of the onboarding process and are to be completed before an employee's first day of work.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for maintaining a clean work environment in assigned areas, which may include patient rooms, offices, nurse’s stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchen areas, elevators and lobby area.
- Assists in maintaining a safe environment by reporting unsafe conditions immediately to supervisor or appropriate department.
- Replenishes supplies including soap, towels and toilet tissue, as well as other disposable items.
