Environmental Services Technician - Per Diem
About The Position
Southern Kentucky Rehabilitation Hospital, a partnership between Select Medical and Vibra Healthcare, is seeking an Environmental Services Technician. This role is on a Per Diem/PRN basis. Our Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital is dedicated to providing exceptional and compassionate care to address the medical, physical, emotional, and vocational challenges for individuals with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputation, and multiple traumas. Requirements
- Previous Housekeeping experience required.
Nice To Haves
- High School degree or equivalent preferred.
- Previous hospital EVS experience preferred.
- Post offer employment testing (POETs) are completed as part of the onboarding process and are to be completed before an employee's first day of work.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for maintaining a clean work environment in assigned areas, which may include patient rooms, offices, nurse’s stations, lounges, bathrooms, kitchen areas, elevators and lobby area.
- Assists in maintaining a safe environment by reporting unsafe conditions immediately to supervisor or appropriate department.
- Replenishes supplies including soap, towels and toilet tissue, as well as other disposable items.
