About The Position

Banner Rehabilitation Hospital, in partnership with Select Medical, is hiring an Environmental Services Technician in Peoria, Arizona. The position maintains clean and safe assigned areas in an inpatient rehabilitation hospital. The hospital provides rehabilitation care for individuals facing challenges related to brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputation, and multiple traumas. Previous housekeeping or environmental services experience is required.

Requirements

• Previous housekeeping experience required.

Nice To Haves

• High school degree or equivalent preferred.
• Previous hospital environmental services (EVS) experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean work environment in assigned areas, which may include patient rooms, offices, nurse’s stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchen areas, elevators, and the lobby.
• Report unsafe conditions immediately to a supervisor or appropriate department.
• Replenish supplies, including soap, towels, toilet tissue, and other disposable items.
