Environmental Services Technician - LCH (PT) 2nd Shift
About The Position
Performs routine tasks in assigned areas, including following a 7-Step cleaning process, remaking beds after disinfecting during discharge cleaning, and adhering to maintenance schedules for floors and carpets. Responsibilities include cleaning fixtures, furnishings, walls, woodwork, floors, stairwells, interior windows, elevators/tracks, and exteriors of equipment. The role involves emptying trash, operating a compactor if necessary, and replenishing disposable items. Additionally, the technician will move and reset furnishings to their original locations and perform all methods of floor care, including dust mopping, wet mopping, stripping, refinishing, spot cleaning, burnishing, and extraction using specified equipment.
Requirements
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions and complete written forms required.
- Related experience preferred.
- On the job training will be provided.
Responsibilities

- Empties trash, wipes and relines containers, operating compactor if necessary.
- Replenishes all disposable items such as soap, toilet paper, paper towels.
- Moves and resets furnishings to original locations following completion of job.
- Performs all methods of floor care in duties, including dust mopping, wet mopping, stripping, refinishing, spot cleaning, burnishing and extraction, using specified equipment.
