About The Position

The Environmental Services Technician Lead - CMC (Full Time) OR/SPD position is a full-time role within the Environmental Services Department at Carolinas Medical Center. This role is responsible for overseeing daily staff duties and assignments, ensuring departmental standards are met through inspections and quality control. The Lead will also coordinate staff training on chemical usage, equipment, processes, and safety. The position requires continuous walking and standing, with potential for bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Applicants must pass a physical ability test as a condition of employment. Requirements

Minimum of 2 years experience as a housekeeper aide or similar job.
Capable of working independently.
Ability to follow oral and written instructions and complete written forms.
Continuous walking and standing, with potential for bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Potential for highly stressful situations due to customer concerns.
