The technician is also responsible for maintaining the housekeeping cart and equipment, safely and cost-effectively mixing cleaning chemicals, ensuring all chemicals are properly labeled, and maintaining adequate supplies of essential items in assigned areas. Additionally, the position may involve accessing secured medication storage locations and requires providing a positive, customer-service-oriented environment through teamwork, enthusiasm, pride in work, and a positive attitude. Daily communication with the manager is expected to exchange information, resolve concerns, and maintain service standards. The technician must also observe and report any equipment, furniture, fixtures, carpet, curtains, or walls in need of repair and adhere to all Northwest Community Hospital standards, policies, and procedures.
