About The Position

The Environmental Services Technician I performs daily duties to establish and maintain a safe, hygienic, and aesthetically pleasing care environment. The role involves contact with patients, visitors, and clinical and non-clinical staff, with interactions adapted appropriately to the demographics of patients served in assigned areas. The technician supports timely patient-room turns while following basic environmental hygiene and infection-prevention principles. In accordance with organizational quality standards, the role contributes to cleaning, disinfection, infection prevention, and patient experience.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age.

Nice To Haves

• 1–2 years of customer service experience preferred.
• 1–2 years of hospitality experience preferred.
• 1–2 years of environmental services experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily duties to establish and maintain a safe, hygienic, and aesthetically pleasing care environment.
• Interact appropriately with patients, visitors, and clinical and non-clinical staff in assigned service areas.
• Support timely patient-room turns related to patient throughput.
