About The Position
The Environmental Services Technician I performs daily duties to establish and maintain a safe, hygienic, and aesthetically pleasing care environment. The role involves contact with patients, visitors, and clinical and non-clinical staff, with interactions that may be physical, psychological, educational, or safety-related and should be appropriate to the demographics of patients served in assigned areas. The technician supports timely room turns related to patient throughput while following basic principles of environmental hygiene and infection prevention. In accordance with organizational quality standards, the position contributes to cleaning, disinfection, infection prevention, and the patient experience.
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
Nice To Haves
- 1–2 years of customer service experience preferred.
- 1–2 years of hospitality experience preferred.
- 1–2 years of environmental services experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily duties to maintain a safe, hygienic, and aesthetically pleasing care environment.
