About The Position
Shriners Children’s is seeking a Full Time Environmental Services Technician to join their team. This position is responsible for providing essential cleaning and support services to ensure a safe and sanitary environment for patients, families, and staff. The role involves a variety of tasks, from routine cleaning to specialized waste disposal, contributing to the overall operational excellence of the organization.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- Ability to manage time efficiently
- Ability to lift at least 25 pounds
- Must be able to perform tasks which require bending, stooping, kneeling, stretching, standing and walking
Nice To Haves
- 1 year of related experience
Responsibilities
- Provides housekeeping/cleaning/courier service to all patient care, treatment, and diagnostic areas.
- Collecting and disposing of Bio-Waste properly.
- Basic room cleaning, including dusting and trash removal.
- Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors.
- Terminal cleaning OR area.
- Assisting with patients, patient family members, and staff as needed.
