About The Position
The Environmental Service Technician maintains a high level of cleanliness within the hospital and adjacent buildings. The role may require traveling from one facility to another without assistance. The technician responds to and initiates communication using phones, handheld radios, pagers, and similar devices. This is a per diem, as-needed position with evening shifts from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.; the employee must be able to pick up shifts during the week and on weekends. The position is at Prime Healthcare St Francis Hospital in Evanston, Illinois.
Requirements
- Must be able to read, understand, and communicate effectively.
Nice To Haves
- One year of knowledge of acute care hospital environmental service techniques, practices, and procedures is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
