Cleaning and sanitizing patient care areas, offices, common spaces, and restrooms Vacuuming, dusting, mopping, disinfecting, and maintaining floors, carpets, and furniture Supporting infection prevention efforts throughout the facility Collecting and properly disposing of biohazard materials Transporting linens and waste materials Stocking restrooms, hand sanitizers, and facility supplies Responding to urgent cleaning and sanitation needs Maintaining a welcoming, professional environment for patients and visitors Join a Team That Cares At Puyallup Tribal Health Authority, every clean room, sanitized surface, and stocked supply area contributes to a healthier community. Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum six (6) months of janitorial, housekeeping, or cleaning experience
- Valid Washington State Driver License, current vehicle liability insurance, and ability to maintain a satisfactory driving record
- Ability to work around contagious illnesses, biohazards, and cleaning chemicals
Responsibilities
- Cleaning and sanitizing patient care areas, offices, common spaces, and restrooms
- Vacuuming, dusting, mopping, disinfecting, and maintaining floors, carpets, and furniture
- Supporting infection prevention efforts throughout the facility
- Collecting and properly disposing of biohazard materials
- Transporting linens and waste materials
- Stocking restrooms, hand sanitizers, and facility supplies
- Responding to urgent cleaning and sanitation needs
- Maintaining a welcoming, professional environment for patients and visitors
