About The Position

This is a full-time position for an Environmental Services Tech II working the 2P-10:30P shift. The role involves adhering to safety guidelines, following instructions, completing educational requirements, and maintaining regulatory compliance. Key responsibilities include cleaning, disinfecting, and restocking various areas of the hospital according to infection control standards, while also maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements

• Completes annual educational requirements within the assigned time frame.
• Maintains regulatory requirements, including all state, federal and Joint Commission regulations related to their department and, as appropriate, to the hospital.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) guidelines regarding safety regulations and best practices when utilizing cleaning equipment, handling chemicals, and disposing of various types of waste
• Be able to follow written and verbal instructions with precision
• Complete annual educational requirements within the assigned time frame.
• Maintain regulatory requirements, including all state, federal and Joint Commission regulations related to the department and, as appropriate, to the hospital.
• Clean, disinfect, and restock patient rooms, common areas, and specialty areas following infection control standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
