About The Position
This position performs general housekeeping tasks to maintain the facility and associated buildings in a sanitary, safe, and attractive condition and to meet hospital and Joint Commission standards. The role is located at St James Hospital in Butte, Montana, and is scheduled for 36 hours per week. The hourly rate is $16.71–$20.43, depending on experience.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Ability to carry, climb, crawl, hear/listen, lift, use manual dexterity, pull/push, see, speak, squat/kneel, stand, and walk.
Responsibilities
- Clean and vacuum all floor surfaces.
- Dispose of infectious and non-infectious waste.
- Clean patient rooms and common areas.
- Dust high and low areas.
- Stock supplies for carts and rooms as required.
- Clean beds and Alaris IV Pumps.
- Communicate appropriately with patients, visitors, and customers according to their age.
- Give patients, visitors, and customers instructions appropriate to their age requirements.
