About The Position

This position is responsible for performing daily and scheduled project cleaning in patient, public, clinical, and administrative areas. Responsibilities include stripping and waxing floors, carpet and furniture cleaning, scrubbing, cleaning, and polishing hard floor surfaces, and maintaining cleaning equipment. The role also involves performing general cleaning tasks in various areas such as patient rooms, restrooms, conference rooms, lobbies, offices, elevators, and stairwells. Additionally, the position requires scheduled terminal/project cleaning in surgical areas and construction cleans as needed. All work must adhere to infection control and safety standards, supporting the organization's focus on customer service. This role is also responsible for safely handling and packaging all waste streams.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Perform daily and scheduled project cleaning in patient, public, clinical, and administrative areas.
• Strip and wax floors, perform carpet and furniture cleaning.
• Scrub, clean, and polish hard floor surfaces.
• Maintain cleaning equipment, including changing brushes and squeegees, and performing battery maintenance and other preventative maintenance duties.
• Perform a variety of general cleaning tasks to maintain patient areas, including patient care areas, public/private restrooms, conference rooms, lobbies, offices, elevators, and stairwells.
• Perform scheduled terminal/project cleaning in surgical areas and construction cleans as required.
• Safely handle and package all waste streams.
• Ensure all work is performed according to infection control and safety standards.
• Support the organization's focus on customer service.
