About The Position

Lifespace is seeking an Environmental Services Supervisor to join their outstanding Environmental Services team. This role involves conducting daily quality assurance inspections across various areas of the community, ensuring work meets high standards and addressing any issues promptly. The supervisor will also inspect guest rooms and new move-in apartments for cleanliness and appearance, coordinate room transfers in healthcare areas, and manage spring cleaning projects. Additionally, the role includes coordinating work schedules and procedures, ensuring team members complete annual training on equipment, chemicals, and community policies, and documenting this training. The supervisor will also inspect equipment daily for repair and maintenance needs, monitor supplies and equipment usage, conduct monthly inventories, and order necessary items within budget.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree
Three to five years applicable experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
A state issued driver’s license with a driving record clear of infractions as defined by current insurance mandates.

Responsibilities

Conduct daily quality assurance inspections in health center, apartment, guest rooms and all common areas to ensure work is up to standard and act promptly when needed.
Inspect guest rooms on a standard basis to ensure cleanliness and excellent show appearance.
Inspect all new moves in apartments for cleaning quality.
Coordinate and assist with room transfers in health care areas.
Coordinate spring cleaning projects.
Coordinate the work schedules and procedures of the department.
Ensure that all department team members have completed training of all equipment, chemicals, and community policies/procedures annually and training forms documented once complete.
Inspect equipment daily to determine repair, maintenance needs and cleanliness/safety of equipment.
Monitor all supplies/equipment used in the daily operations of the department, daily.
Chemical/supply/equipment inventories conducted monthly; order needed items within maintained budget.
