Requirements

High school diploma or GED required
Previous Environmental Services experience in a healthcare setting required
Knowledge of infection prevention, safety, and regulatory standards
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical job duties as needed
Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Nice To Haves

Associate's degree preferred
Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily activities of Environmental Services staff
Monitor cleaning and sanitation procedures in patient rooms, offices, and common areas
Ensure proper isolation, discharge, and terminal cleaning practices are followed
Conduct routine inspections to maintain quality, safety, and regulatory compliance standards
Train, coach, and evaluate team members while promoting a culture of accountability and excellence
Assist with staffing schedules, assignments, and departmental workflow
Oversee floor care, waste management, bed washing, and other environmental services functions
Collaborate with hospital leadership and clinical departments to support patient satisfaction and operational goals
