About The Position

Supervises daily staff activities for an assigned shift. Assesses quality of services delivered and facilitates staff development programs. Ensures staff compliance with departmental and organizational policies, procedures and protocols. Provides direction, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff. Assists with performance evaluations and disciplinary actions. Determines, coordinates and supervises daily staffing assignments. Participates in interviewing and selection of new employees. Effectively manages department technology including bed management programs. Performs staff responsibilities as needed to fulfill required service levels. Leads the handling and resolution of complex issues and complaints.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • One (1) year of supervision experience in a healthcare or hospitality environment preferred.
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Decisive judgment
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
