About The Position
The Environmental Services Specialist performs designated housekeeping duties and cleaning functions throughout the hospital and remote facilities as assigned. Environmental Services staff must follow the utmost safety precautions and aseptic techniques required by Marshall Medical Center and comply with standards established by governing agencies.
Requirements
- Must meet all DMV requirements.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English to assist patients and staff, understand written requests, memos, and instructions, and complete shift reports.
- Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift.
- Ability to perform moderately heavy physical activity, including pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, reaching, and climbing, without limitations.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and push carts weighing 125 to 350 pounds without limitations.
Nice To Haves
- Previous work-related experience is preferred.
