About The Position

The Environmental Services Project Tech is responsible for cleaning and disinfecting various patient care and treatment rooms. This role requires knowledge of cleaning procedures, infection control, and safety protocols. The ideal candidate can work independently, organize tasks efficiently, and maintain positive working relationships with other departments, particularly nursing. Confidentiality of sensitive information is paramount.

Requirements

• Skill in cleaning/disinfecting a variety of rooms used for patient care and treatment.
• Knowledgeable of procedures for cleaning, disinfecting, infection control, and safety.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• Able to organize cleaning duties and prioritize work to complete assignments in an efficient manner.
• Actively guards the confidentiality of sensitive information including but not limited to the patients, staff and the health system.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 to 2 years of work experience.
