We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Environmental Services (Housekeeping, Laundry, Receiving) to join our leadership team to serve as an assistant manager in the department. Cedarbrook is proudly owned and operated by Lehigh County.

Requirements

At least 4 years of experience in Environmental Services or related field.
Must have ability to use Microsoft Office products and other technology.
Or any other equivalent combination of acceptable training and experience as determined by Cedarbrook leadership.

Nice To Haves

Healthcare experience is highly preferred.
Lead or management experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Plan, assign and review work of environmental services staff on resident care units and administrative areas in accordance with facility policies and regulatory guidelines.
Special projects and other duties as assigned.
Help create employee schedules and under the direction of departmental leadership assist with employee performance reviews, disciplines, and hiring/onboarding.
Serve as departmental supervisor in absence of the Environmental Services Department Head and Assistant Operations Managers.
Help to educate staff on proper cleaning techniques.
Assist the Environmental Leadership team in handling off-hour emergency phone calls.
