About The Position

Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, provides specialized support services exclusively to the healthcare industry. As an Operations Manager, the Environmental Services Manager assists in directing and overseeing the department’s operational support-service needs. The role coordinates frontline associates and serves as a liaison between administration and unit departments to provide the highest possible level of service.

Requirements

• Four years of support services, military, housekeeping, and/or facilities maintenance experience.
• At least one year of supervisory experience in a support-service-related field with high customer or client contact.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and oral presentations.
• Ability to multitask and establish priorities.
• Ability to maintain organization in a changing and stressful environment.
• Initiative, responsibility, flexibility, and leadership.
• Thorough knowledge of contract administration and office procedures.
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, and the internet.

Responsibilities

• Establish and annually review standards and work procedures for all staff.
• Plan work and staffing schedules and areas of work to ensure adequate services are rendered.
• Assist with interviewing, hiring, and training new associates.
• Orient, develop, and supervise supervisory and housekeeping staff.
• Conduct regular inspections and make recommendations to the facility.
• Conduct monthly reporting on goals, accomplishments, and future plans.
• Provide staff education and continuous training.
• Communicate with staff, administration, and other departments.
• Coordinate outside services, including pest control, window cleaning, medical and solid waste, document destruction, and recycling.
