About The Position
Join Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) as an Environmental Services Manager in Training. In a structured, paid 12-week program, you will receive hands-on and computer-based training to prepare you to manage your own account and oversee housekeeping, laundry, and floor care operations at a long-term care facility. The role supports HCSG’s commitment to positively impacting communities and enhancing customer and resident experiences.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks.
- Computer skills, including the ability to maintain records and complete required reports, including web-based reporting.
- Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Able to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
- Able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously and daily.
- Able to work around food and cleaning products.
- Able to follow oral and written instructions.
- Residency within the service area required.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing and supervising housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff.
- Learn to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and federal and state requirements.
- Participate in staff training, development, and scheduling.
- Maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment.
- Act as a liaison between building occupants and administrators and HCSG staff, communicating directives effectively.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
