Environmental Services - Manager in Training
About The Position
Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring an Environmental Services Manager in Training to learn to manage an account and oversee housekeeping, laundry, and floor care operations at a long-term care facility. The paid, structured 12-week program includes hands-on and computer-based training to prepare the employee to manage environmental services in a healthcare setting. The role involves assisting with staff supervision, compliance, training, scheduling, recordkeeping, and communication between facility occupants and administrators and HCSG staff. Candidates must live within the service area and be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, including lifting or carrying up to 50 pounds and performing routine, repetitive tasks.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
- Computer skills, including the ability to maintain records and complete reports as required, including web-based reporting.
- Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Able to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
- Able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously and daily.
- Able to work around food and cleaning products.
- Able to follow oral and written instructions.
- Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities
