Environmental Services - Manager in Training
About The Position
Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring an Environmental Services Manager in Training to learn how to manage an account and oversee housekeeping, laundry, and floor care operations at a long-term care facility. This paid, structured 12-week program includes hands-on and computer-based training to prepare the employee to manage environmental services in a healthcare setting. The role supports HCSG’s commitment to positively impacting the communities it serves and enhancing customer and resident experiences. The employee will help supervise staff, learn to ensure operational and regulatory compliance, and communicate with facility occupants, administrators, and HCSG staff. The position requires residency within the service area and compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies. Physical requirements include lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, pushing and pulling up to 50 pounds, and standing, sitting, bending, and walking for extended periods. The employee must be able to perform repetitive tasks continuously and work around food and cleaning products. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks.
- Computer skills, including the ability to maintain records and complete required reports, including web-based reporting.
- Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously and daily.
- Ability to work around food and cleaning products.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Residency within the service area is required.

Responsibilities
