About The Position

Hendricks Community Hospital Association is seeking a qualified individual to join our team as an Environmental Services Technician. This role is crucial for maintaining the cleanliness of our facility, with a strong emphasis on infection control. The position involves performing various cleaning activities, stocking supplies, and potentially handling linens. The hours are 5am to 1:30pm, with a rotating weekend and holiday schedule. A weekend differential of an additional $2 per hour is offered. The starting wage is $19 per hour, depending on experience.

Responsibilities

Maintains a clean/neat environment in working area.
Participates in all cleaning activities as assigned. These may include, but not be limited to: dusting, washing, drying, mopping, vacuuming, moving furniture, and emptying trash.
Keeps assigned area fully stocked with supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, etc.
Responsible for maintaining stock on individual cleaning carts including wet and dry supplies.
Maintain good customer relations at all times.
May sort, wash, and accurately deliver linens.
