Enviromental Services/Housekeeper
About The Position
The Environmental Services/Housekeeper performs custodial duties to clean the hospital and maintain a safe, risk-preventive environment in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards. Duties include routine dusting, mopping, and sanitizing of lobbies, restrooms, and hallways, along with maintaining the facility’s general appearance and performing minor repairs. The role is full-time, generally scheduled from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with every-other-weekend and holiday rotation. Overtime and flexible hours may be required. Metropolitan Behavioral Health is a 144-bed behavioral health facility providing inpatient services for adolescents, adults, and older adults, behavioral health assessments 24 hours a day, programs for co-occurring behavioral health and substance-use issues, and outpatient group, family, and individual therapy.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Able to work with minimal supervision.
Nice To Haves
- Two years of experience in maintenance and custodial duties, preferably in a health care facility.
Responsibilities
