About The Position

Aramark Healthcare+ is seeking candidates for an Environmental Services Director position at Catholic Medical Center, located in Manchester, NH. This is a management position responsible for developing and executing custodial solutions to meet customer needs. The role involves servicing and/or maintaining a physical location or site to client specifications. The Director will manage the day-to-day operations of the Environmental Services (Housekeeping) Department, overseeing overall facility cleanliness, patient room cleaning, bed turnaround times, floor care, trash removal, and biohazardous waste handling. A key focus is driving patient satisfaction and HCAHPS scores.

Requirements

  • Requires at least 3-5 years of experience in an Environmental Services Manager role.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Healthcare experience within an acute care hospital required.
  • Proficiency with computer applications is required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, engage, and develop teams to maximize their contributions, including recruiting, assessing, training, coaching, and managing performance.
  • Ensure facilities services connect to the appropriate Executional Framework and consistently utilize the GROW Coaching model.
  • Reward and recognize employees.
  • Ensure safety and sanitation standards in all operations.
  • Develop and maintain effective client and customer rapport for mutually beneficial business relationships.
  • Deliver and model WEST as the foundation for delivering excellent customer service.
  • Identify client needs and communicate operational progress.
  • Develop custodial programs to meet client and customer demands and specifications.
  • Responsible for building revenue and managing budgets, including labor, supplies, equipment, and related services/materials.
  • Ensure the completion and maintenance of P&L statements.
  • Adopt all Aramark processes and systems, and eliminate custom/manual reports.
  • Understand performance metrics, data, and order and inventory trends; educate teams on key levers to improve margins.
  • Implement and maintain GM agenda for both labor and facilities initiatives.
  • Create value through efficient operations, appropriate cost controls, and profit management.
  • Ensure full compliance with Operational Excellence fundamentals for facilities and labor targets.
  • Plans, controls, and directs all cleaning, sanitizing, and waste removal functions within a healthcare facility to meet operating and financial goals, client objectives, and customer needs.
  • Overall ownership and accountability of operational management and financial performance of the unit.
  • Model key leadership behaviors and ensure the highest levels of safety, quality, and service excellence for employees, clients, and consumers.
  • Coach employees by creating a shared understanding about what needs to be achieved and how it is to be achieved.
  • Identify and engage top talent and develop team members to their fullest potential within the organization.
  • Plan and lead team management meetings.
