About The Position
This is a full-time position for an Environmental Services / Custodial Manager 2 at Sodexo Health Care, located in Grand Forks, ND. The role operates on a 2nd shift schedule from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. The Environmental Services/Housekeeping teams at Sodexo Health Care are responsible for directing housekeeping operations at healthcare client locations, partnering to deliver innovative solutions. They focus on driving client satisfaction through excellent customer service, effective communication with hospital staff, and addressing action items that impact client and patient satisfaction. The core of their work is creating a clean, healthy, and comfortable environment for hospitals, which is crucial for the overall patient experience.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of management experience
- Minimum 2 years of functional experience in Housekeeping, Environmental, or Custodial Services
- Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
- Experience leading, training, and managing a team in a service delivery environment
- Have experience leading, training and managing a team and is a leader who develops and motivates a team to exceed the expectations of clients and customers in service delivery
- Have customer service and/or guest satisfaction in a healthcare or hospitality
- Possess strong leadership skills and has the ability to work independently to drive program
- Monitor compliance and reach project target dates of completion
- Have experience effectively managing projects within agreed upon timelines
- Are results and safety driven
- Are proficient with computers and other technology
Responsibilities
- Be responsible for driving client and patient satisfaction scores
- Provide a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors and staff and works closely with the Infectious Control department
- Lead teams and departmental projects and initiatives
- Effectively manage the Unit Operating System
- Support a diverse and inclusive workforce
