About The Position

Cleans, sanitizes, and maintains an assigned area in a sanitary, orderly, and attractive condition, including setting up event and conference rooms. Makes timely rounds to collect soiled items, infectious waste, reusable patient care equipment, and instruments; segregates these items into their respective holding areas; and cleans and reprocesses equipment and other reusable patient care items. Also transports and handles hazardous chemicals properly to designated storage areas. The position is full-time, scheduled 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., with rotating weekends and holidays.

Requirements

Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Clean, sanitize, and maintain assigned areas in a sanitary, orderly, and attractive condition.
Set up event and conference rooms.
Make timely rounds to collect soiled items, infectious waste, reusable patient care equipment, and instruments.
Segregate collected items and move them to their respective holding areas.
Clean and reprocess equipment and other reusable patient care items.
Properly transport and handle hazardous chemicals to designated storage areas.
