Environmental Services Cleaning Technician (2nd Shift)
About The Position
The Environmental Services Cleaning Technician maintains cleanliness in assigned areas by sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors; cleaning and disinfecting restrooms, break rooms, and shared office spaces; emptying and cleaning trash and recycling bins; and restocking and ordering cleaning supplies. The role suits someone who enjoys cleaning, pays attention to detail, and takes pride in quality work. The technician may work independently or with a small cleaning group and must be able to respond to changing priorities to meet customer demands. The position is onsite at a Vermeer campus, with no travel expected. It is assigned to the second shift.
Requirements
- Understand the safe use, storage, and transportation of cleaning products.
- Ability to respond to changing priorities to meet customer demands.
- Ability to perform the physical activities and lifting, pushing, pulling, and gripping tasks described in the essential functions.
Responsibilities
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors within assigned areas.
- Clean and disinfect restrooms, break rooms, and shared office spaces.
- Empty and clean trash and recycling bins.
