Environmental Services Associate
About The Position
The Environmental Services Associate performs housekeeping duties for the hospital’s Environmental Services Department. The role promotes sanitary conditions to help prevent the spread of infection and odors, and requires efficient use of cleaning techniques, solutions, equipment, and tools. The associate performs cleaning and project assignments within their area of responsibility or as directed by a supervisor, maintains equipment and storage areas in clean and orderly operating condition, and responds promptly and thoroughly to emergencies, special needs, and spills. The position requires good judgment when working around patients and visitors. The schedule is 12:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., with every other weekend and every other major holiday required. The position is at Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital in Darby, Pennsylvania.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
